Alright, secure yourselves a seat kind people and get comfortable, I am about to ramble. Last week I mentioned that I was setting up the new GPUs ready for rendering Episode 3, and I am relieved to say it is all working now. I have also done some test renders of the ladies on the new setup below for you to enjoy.
While I was setting up the new GPU and testing everything, I was still working on Episode 3 and honestly, I am rocking and rolling with this one. I have pushed past 11,000 words in the script so far and I do not even think I am halfway through yet. This episode is already shaping up to be a bit of a beast. Toward the end of the week, I decided to switch from pure writing to making a start on renders as well. My thinking is that I can continue writing while also chipping away at the visual side of things.
As it stands, Episode 3 now has its first 100 renders completed, and I am getting geared up to pull some truly unhinged, caffeine-fueled hours to keep this momentum rolling.
I know I have said it more than a few times now, but thank you for all the kind words, whether they came from here, Discord, Reddit, my dreams, or wherever you sent them from. The enthusiasm for Episode 2 has been incredible, and the Steam wishlist numbers are cooking as well. I hit around 1,000 wishlists in the first month, which is a great start, and I am really hoping that momentum continues as I push further into this part of the story.
