Ok look, I know Mayaman is nightmare fuel, I get it, but stick with me. Sitting here on about five hours of sleep, I am going to wax somewhat lyrical about the state of this update and how far away from the finish line I still feel, despite working around the clock on it.
Renders are done, post work is done, unlockables are done… and yet there is still a fair amount left. I have coding to finish, music, sound effects, a few animations I would like to include, and all the release content like trailers and posters. The problem is that when you track progress by how many renders you complete each week, you hit this wall of disappointment when they are finally done and you are left staring at what feels like a half-finished update. What I am working on now is what really pushes the quality of the game to where I want it to be.

So what the hell have I actually been doing? Honestly, it has been a blur. I have been pouring all my spare hours into development as usual, and I can barely remember where the time has gone. I still have about five to seven music tracks left to complete at a minimum, and I think I have already done around fifteen this past week. I am making a promise to myself to do at least one a week for the next episode, because cranking out this much music in such a short time is a very efficient way to lose your mind.
On the positive side, Maya thinks the music is getting better, which was exactly the boost I needed this week. Shout out to that guy, he is a good friend when you need support. And honestly, shout out to all the guys on Discord as well. Their banter and guidance keep me afloat when I would otherwise drown in the workload.
Look, I am not even sure what I have properly covered here. I am just grinding away, putting everything I have into bringing you the next part of the story with the energy and determination of a nuclear power plant. I want to make the best damn game I possibly can.
Love you all, and thank you for the support.
Cheers,
Bat
