Happy Tuesday, Spidey fans.
I am once again here to bring you prophecies delivered directly by our overlords at FOX. It would seem The Simpsons have yet to predict the success of Moonlight, so I guess I'd better keep working.
But whilst we wait, why don't you let Papa Bat tell you the story of his week. Pull up a chair, grab a drink, and look deeply into my box face.
Let's get some numbers out of the way. 81 renders this week. I got through those pretty nicely even though I had to build an additional two environments to get them done. The environments themselves weren't that difficult and I had a decent starting point. I just had to Moonlight them up a bit.
So I ripped through those renders, then I faced off against the final boss that will probably take up most of my time this week. I have an animation that starts Scene 4 and another that ends it. The one at the end, I honestly have no idea how I'm going to achieve what's in my wild, wacky brain.
So first off I went shopping. I browsed the internet looking for a scene that matched what I had in my head as a starting point...
I found nothing.
Now I could have compromised and found a different way of doing the scene, but I'm stubborn, overconfident, and naively unaware of the complexities involved, so I just shrugged it off and decided to build the whole thing myself from scratch.

I finally finished that last night, and I now have the scene I wanted for these animations. So this week I can finally get started on the animations themselves.

There are a few cut scenes I'm nervous about this episode, but there are two non-speaking animations that really worry me. This is one of them, and the other comes right at the end of the episode.

Not really much else to talk about this week. Just busy grinding away.
I hope you all have a great week. Don't forget that lactose intolerance can develop at any age, and if you have a partner they may not appreciate you scranning a whole block of cheese right before bed. But it's not your fault.
You're essentially a flying rodent.
This advice might have limited reach.
Oh well, I tried.
Peace,
Bat
