Gotta Catch Em All!

Ok wonderful people of the internet, let’s get started. This dev log is a little special since I wanted to celebrate a good friend of mine finally listening to me and getting his Steam page set up. I thought I would celebrate by kidnapping him and forcing him to get to work on the game. Turns out he is a slippery bastard. I think I have his MC though. I am probably going to hold him ransom until he gets some more wishlists on Steam.

Anyway, what productive shit have I done this week, you might be thinking, since I have clearly fallen off the deep end?

What has this got to do with Moonlight are you ok Bat?

I got the opening animation for the scene done and rendered out. I also got 128 renders done this week, bringing the update total to 1576.

The last scene I was working on was a real pain in the ass. Everything was going so slow. I was pushing Daz to its limits for the sake of scenery and environment. I managed to get through it and finish the scene with the help of Maya and Barrabass last night. Thanks for keeping me company whilst I fell into a pit of despair, guys.

On the bright side, I only have two scenes left to do in this update. One of those is going to be really tough to work with because of the setting, but I will power through. Once I am done with renders, I still have the music and a few animations to sort, as well as post work. We are still a way off yet, but things are moving into the later stages of the dev cycle, so that has me excited.
