DEV LOG / EPISODE 3 / WEEK 16

All Work & No Play Makes Bat A Dull Boy

What up Bat Fam, it’s your boy Big Bat coming to you live from the depths of my subconscious. Don’t forget to like and subscribe, hit that notification button. If I get one million likes on this upload I will finally see a therapist to deal with the emotional trauma caused by that one woman who honked her horn at me five years ago.

This week we are going deep, and what better place to start than down here in the sewer. I’m hunting for Ninja Turtles to help join the Big Bat Productions team and hopefully get some of the heavy lifting done. I know they are limited to three fingers, but I’m pretty sure they can still animate in Blender.

I've been taking a break from the rest of my life to get the relaxation I only seem to feel whilst working on the game. I did not get crazy numbers this week, but I began tackling the second to last scene in the episode. It is a big one since it has multiple different versions of the conversation depending on who you have invested your points into.

I also had a bit of fun with my boy Barrabass and made a Maya Chicken and Lemon mascot in 3D together. I think we made two cute little guys. Below is a render of Ashe from Projekt Passion that I did to show off the Lemon guy. Ain’t he cute.

Numbers, motherfucker. Where’s my god damn game?

Whoa, slow down. I hear you. I’m excited to get this update to you guys too and I am putting in the hours.

Numbers wise I got 133 renders done this week, bringing the update total to 1709. I keep trying to estimate how many renders this update will be. It was supposed to be smaller than this. Truth be told, the story keeps enticing me and I am following it like a little rat boy chasing the sound of the pipe.

Anyway that’s all I have for you this week, friends. I will be pushing through this scene in the coming week, but I also need to put some time aside for animation, so we will see where I end up.

Thanks for the support.
